April 2026Platform
Grove — a new name, a new home
The platform has a new name: Grove. Same tools, same knowledge base — cleaner identity, its own domain, and a foundation built for more than one team. The rebrand comes alongside a set of infrastructure and UX improvements that make the platform feel more like a product.
🌿Rebrand to GroveLive
- ·New name, logo, and design system — Fraunces serif headings, sage-green palette, Inter body text
- ·Now live at usergrove.com with a Grove-branded login page and email sender (noreply@usergrove.com)
- ·Homepage fully rewritten to explain what Grove does and why it works differently from black-box persona tools
🏢Workspace isolationLive
Grove now supports multiple independent workspaces. Every team's archetypes, insights, personas, and journey maps are fully isolated — one team's knowledge base is never visible to another.
- ·@aviv-group.com users automatically share a connected pro workspace
- ·All other users get a private trial workspace on sign-up — no manual setup required
- ·Workspace name shown in the nav for pro users so it's always clear which context you're in
💬Feedback formLive
- ·Quick open-text feedback form below the tool cards on the dashboard
- ·Submissions are saved and sent directly to the Grove maintainer
- ·Beta badge in the header links to this — if something feels off, that's the place to say so
On the name. A grove is a living ecosystem — every piece of research becomes nutrients in the soil. The archetypes are the trees: they don't appear fully formed, they grow slowly and deliberately as insights accumulate around them. That's the idea the name is meant to hold.
April 2026New tools
Challenger, Archetype Hub, and the knowledge loop
Three new capabilities that work together: stress-test a hypothesis with real-world evidence, let the results automatically enrich your archetype knowledge base, and chain research directly into your next discussion guide. The goal is a traceable line from question to evidence to insight to archetype.
⚡ChallengerLive
Enter a hypothesis and Challenger searches the web across five dimensions — supporting evidence, contradicting evidence, audience signals, behavioural patterns, and market signals — then returns a structured verdict with source citations.
- ·Verdict: Supported / Rejected / Nuanced — with a confidence level and an alternative framing when warranted
- ·Runs as a background job — navigate away while it works, check back when it's done
- ·Each finding is linked to a real source — no hallucinated citations
- ·Chain directly into a Discussion Guide: one click pre-fills objective, assumptions, and open questions from the report
🧬Archetype HubLive
A dedicated home for your user archetypes. Each archetype has an editable definition and a knowledge base that grows automatically every time a Challenger run completes.
- ·After each Challenger run, insights are automatically extracted and mapped to the relevant archetype
- ·You review each insight — accept to add it to the knowledge base, reject to discard
- ·Accepted insights are categorised (Behavioral, Attitude, Pain point, Goal, Market signal) and linked back to their source
- ·Add new archetypes at any time — they're picked up by the next research run automatically
📝Discussion Guide — updatesUpdated
- ·Multi-archetype selection — target multiple archetypes in a single guide when the research spans more than one
- ·Pre-fill from Challenger — objective, assumptions, and open questions are populated automatically from the report
- ·Provenance chip — guides created from Challenger research show a link back to the originating report
On provenance. Every insight in the Archetype Hub can be traced back to the source article it came from, the Challenger hypothesis that triggered the research, and the section of the report it appeared in. This is by design — knowledge that can't be traced shouldn't be trusted.
March 2026Launch
First release
Built to close the gap between having research questions and being able to act on them. Instead of waiting weeks to schedule studies, you can start exploring user perspectives today — grounded in real research, not generic AI output.
📝Discussion GuideLive
Turn a research question into a structured interview guide in under a minute. Fill in four fields — your objective, the archetype you're targeting, what you're assuming, and what you don't know — and get a ready-to-use script with warm-up questions, probes, and a wrap-up.
- ·Guides save automatically — pick up where you left off
- ·Regenerate anytime after editing the brief
- ·Output in English or German
💬Synthetic InterviewLive
Have a conversation with an AI persona built from real research. Ask exploratory questions, test assumptions, or probe for reactions — and get responses that reflect genuine archetype behaviour, not generic AI answers.
- ·Switch between English and German mid-session
- ·The persona stays on topic — off-topic questions get redirected naturally
- ·Personas are enriched by the Archetype Hub knowledge base — responses improve as more research is added
🗺️Journey MapLive
Explore what each archetype is trying to get done at each stage of their journey. Dig into goals, frustrations, risks, and decision forks — one layer at a time, at your own pace.
- ·Open and close layers independently — no information overload
- ·Expand all or collapse all per stage
🔬SynthesisComing soon
Paste in interview transcripts and get structured themes, insight clusters, and recommendations — ready to share with your team and feed back into the knowledge base.
A note on AI output. Everything Grove generates is a starting point, not a final answer. The tools are designed to help you think faster — not to replace the judgment you bring as a researcher. Always review outputs critically before acting on them or sharing them with others.
